Health Benefits of vape over smoking

Ten years since vaping came into the market, the debate continues on whether vaping has any health advantages over smoking. Vaping has grown to become a popular choice for people in the last couple of years despite being so young in the market. Despite the concerns which have been expressed on the benefits of vaping, it has been shown to have quite a number of advantages which include:

Vape juice contains fewer toxins than cigarettes: Traditional cigarettes contain loads of harmful toxins and chemicals, some of which are; nicotine, lead, arsenic, cyanide, ammonia, and carbon monoxide, and the list doesn’t end there. In fact, a stick of cigarette has been shown to contain over twenty-four carcinogenic chemicals and toxins which can cause cancer. On the other hand, e-juice contains far lesser toxins. Vape juice contains only VG, PG, and flavoring, which are all approved by the FDA.

Vape juice is less hazardous to the health: Cigarette Smoking, which is even more deadly than Marijuana smoking, goes hand-in-hand with lung cancer, bronchitis, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory infections. There is no gain-saying that cigarette smoking is dangerous to human health as many peer-reviewed scientific types of research have long proved this. Chain cigarette smoking has been linked with several incurable diseases- most of which are chronic and perennial, of course, this is as a result of the carcinogenic toxins by tobacco combustion.

Vaping is less harmful to passive smokers: It has been discussed and established that smoking is detrimental to the smoker, but what is not known is that smoking is equally detrimental to the people around smokers. In this regard, vaping is much safer for passive smokers, as the vape produces either odorless or scented smoke.

Vaping is healthier for the environment: studies have shown that cigarette smoking is harmful to the environment in more ways than one. Environmental risks of smoking include but are not limited to fire outbreaks, and it is on record that cigarette smoking is one of the leading causes of fire outbreaks in the United States. Air pollutions and greenhouse effects are some of the other prevalent environmental cons of smoking cigarettes. On the other hand, vaping poses not a single risk to the environment.

The vast difference in health risk between Smoking cigarettes and Vaping juice doesn’t come as a surprise to many informed people. However, the misconceptions concerning the health risk of vaping are widespread, due mainly to anti-tobacco activists and health officials who are bent on obscuring the truth.

So the next time you light a cigarette stick thinks of how much it affects your health, the health of people around you and the health of the environment and choose to vape if you must.
